No more. We refuse to accept the defeat and designed a 24 hour detox plan to follow after Memorial Day.
1. BREAKFAST- Plain Yogurt and Pitted Prunes
You have committed to this Memorial Day Weekend Detox and the first step is breakfast. If you want to detox your body from all the beer, burgers, and toxic ingredients that you have allowed into your system over the long weekend, its time to get serious.
Breakfast for your detox plan consists of plain yogurt (non Greek, just a plain yogurt) and three or four pitted prunes. You can chop the prunes into the yogurt. The yogurt acidity will set your intestinal activity back to normal. The prunes facilitate digestion and the removal of toxic intestinal residue.
2. DRINK- Cucumber, Mint, Lime and Coconut Water
Forget about plain water for 24 hours. If you want to re-hydrate your body drink this magic water for an entire day. The recipe is simple: Pour lime or lemon juice into an ice cube tray. Fill two half bottles of purified water with mint leaves, cucumber pure, coconut water and lime juice ice cubes.
Make fresh batches as needed. Cucumber is a natural diuretic, lime and lemon are filled with vitamin C, mint is a natural flavor and cucumber water is a hydration super hero.
